The cozy Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Universal Studios City Walk, Hollywood, California, was filled by the evening's end and a good time was had by all in attendance. The girls were beauties and actually made the evening funnier; engaging the comedians and becoming a show of its own within a night of acts! A great idea to incorporate the girls!
The Greg Wilson
The Greg Wilson is a favorite comedian and TV personality on VH1, MTV Tr3s, TLC, ABC Radio, “Red-Eye” and a popular headliner of comedy clubs, festivals and casinos across the country. His numerous stand-up television appearances include Showtime’s “White Boyz in the Hood,” Comedy TV, and “Comics Unleashed” with Byron Allen. Greg guest starred on “Modern Family,” “Bones,” “Ugly Betty,” “Law & Order,” and “Third Watch.” He completed a pilot for NBC, Comedy Coliseum, and a leading role opposite Joel David Moore and Paris Hilton in the box office bomb, “The Hottie and the Nottie.”
Ron ‘The Yacman’ Yacovetti
Ron has a deep history in combat sports, having written for two syndicated Sports Entertainment television shows, “Thunderbox” and “Heavyweight Explosion,” both boxing-oriented programs. He is the commentator for Convicted Artist FIGHTS.
In late 2006, Ron – who became known as “The Yacman” - landed the role of Lead Correspondent for the Mixed Martial Arts social networking site, ProElite.com. He became synonymous with the site, earning himself the unofficial moniker of ‘The Face of ProElite.” What also helped brand him was his spontaneity on camera, the byproduct of a twelve year career as a professional stand-up comedian.
Amir K
Is one of the fastest rising young comedians in Los Angeles. Born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Southern California, his comedy is an hilarious blend of character work, story telling and improvisation shaped by a multi-cultural upbringing. Amir has been featured on DFDTV’s “Live-Laughs” and recently won the 100 Comic Ultimate Laff-Down XV111 Stand-up Competition in Orange County. Amir’s raw talent is showcased on a nightly basis at various venues including comedy clubs and playhouses in and around the Los Angeles area
Eliot Chang
Eliot Chang's TV appearances include a “Comedy Central Presents” half-hour special, Showtime's “Minority Report,” and E!'s “Chelsea Lately.” Sharp, biting opinions combined with his trademark polished wardrobe make Eliot's live performances memorable. This performer strives to avoid being interchangeable with other comics. His goal is to be memorable. This comedian is also an actor and improviser. He studied improv in NY at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and then with Armando Diaz at the Magnet Theater, where he was on the house team "Jungle! Jungle!" He continues his training in LA with Lesly Kahn. Every year Eliot tours America for eight months and has performed at over four hundred colleges. Whether the show is rated R or PG, it is guaranteed to be a night that students will be talking about for years.
Reggie Warren Jr.
Reggie Warren Jr. is not a comedian but a huge character sensation in mixed martial arts. He took center stage when beat up seven UFC fighters within one week. Reggie is considered a badass redneck from North Carolina. He holds degrees in every known martial arts, and specialized in toe-holds and Ken Shamrock ankle-locks. He is never afraid to call out UFC fighters and will take a fight in a moments notice. Reggie is known for calling out various MMA fighters including Brock Lesnar & Karo Parisyan in a collection of crazy videos. Look at him the wrong way and he’ll stomp your F***king face!
Earl Skakel
Born and raised in the hills of Los Angeles! I'm out and about every night doing comedy from the Improv to the biggest dumps in the city, so catch me if you can! Ask around and you'll find Big Earl eventually!
